Sister brands

Other brands operated by the same UK Gambling Commission licensee, on the same licence account. Sharing a licensee matters: restrictions, complaints and self-exclusions attach to the company, not the brand.

Why the licence account matters more than the logo

A casino brand is a website. The licence belongs to a company, and one company can run several brands on a single licence account. Everything on this page is taken from the Gambling Commission’s public register: each brand listed here has its domain registered as Active on the same account as the casino you are reading about.

  • Self-exclusion. Self-excluding with a licensee should cover the brands it runs under that licence. It does not cover a different licensee, even one owned by the same parent company. GAMSTOP is the only scheme that covers every UK-licensed site at once.
  • Complaints. A complaint about any brand on the account goes to the same company and, if unresolved, to the same approved dispute resolution service.
  • Welcome offers. Operators commonly limit new-customer offers across the brands they run. Opening an account on a sister site does not always make you a new customer again.
  • Safer-gambling history. A licensee is expected to act on what it knows about you as a customer, so affordability or harm concerns raised on one brand can affect your account on another.

Sister brands are listed for transparency. We have not reviewed them, so they carry no score, and their offers are not shown until they have been checked.

BetMGM UK

BetMGM UK

betmgm.co.uk

betmgm.co.uk is registered as Active on licence account 39198, the LeoVegas Gaming PLC account. MGM Resorts International bought the LeoVegas group in 2022, and the UK version of BetMGM runs on the LeoVegas licence rather than a licence of its own. For a UK player that means BetMGM and LeoVegas are the same licensed company.

Frequently asked questions

What is a sister casino?

A brand run by the same licensed company, on the same UK Gambling Commission licence account, as another brand. The logo and website differ; the licensee, the complaints process and the account-level obligations are shared.

Does self-excluding from one brand block its sister sites?

A self-exclusion with a licensee should cover the brands it runs under that licence, but not other licensees, even ones owned by the same parent company. To block every UK-licensed site at once, use GAMSTOP.

Are 888casino and William Hill sister sites?

Not in the licence sense. They share a parent company, Evoke plc, but are licensed to two different companies on two separate licence accounts: 888 UK Limited (39028) and WHG (International) Limited (39225).

Why do sister brands have no score?

Because we have not reviewed them. We list them from the register so you know who operates them, but a score has to be earned by a full review.
